How do I become a dental assistant in the State of Florida?

At the completion of the program, you will receive an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certificate. After working for 90 days, you are eligible to take our Dental Radiology one day course to become certified to take x-rays.

How much does your program cost?

The 10 week program is $4,000.00.

The EFDA Course is $800.00.

The Radiology Course is $400.00.

Are there any other fees associated with the courses like books, supplies, etc?

A.

We provide everything you need to succeed! You will need to wear black scrub uniforms and a black lab jacket, so if you do not have them, then yes, this will be in addition to the cost of tuition.

Do you offer payment plans?

A.

Yes we do!  We offer 3 options for the 10 week program.  They are listed on the enrollment form.  The EFDA and Radiology courses must be paid in full prior to attending the course.  We accept cash, checks or money orders.

How long are the classes?

A.

Remember, the 10 week program is on Saturdays so you still have the ability to work during the week.  Class hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

What do I need to bring to class?

A.

You will need to bring a folder, paper, pen and pencil to class each week.  We provide everything else.

How will I complete my externship?

A.

We have contracts with several dental offices in Lake and Orange County to help with placement.  We do not guarantee placement, however, we work hard to help you find an office to complete this component of the course.
